Andre Investigations:
California Death & Marriage Search
Andre’ Investigation’s can check “The California Death Index” which contains the state’s registrar's index of all deaths between the years 1940 and 1999. With almost ten million records, this database is an excellent source for confirming a subject's status or cross-referencing for relatives. Information is returned on the name of the individual, gender, truncated SSN, month/year of birth and birth location, death date and county. A search can be made for the years after 1999, which would require an investigator to go to the county in question.
California Marriages from 1960-1985
This database contains the State Registrar's Index of all marriages
in the state of California from 1960 through 1985. Each record contains
the husband's name and age, the wife's maiden name and age, the date
of marriage and the county. This file is a much overlooked skip tracing
tool. The age at and date of marriage provide a clue as to the year
of birth. The wife's maiden name will point to relatives who may be
helpful in the search. The county of marriage may provide an indication
of current location or at least presents an historical reference point.
Some counties provide records reflecting previous married names for
the bride.
