Andre Investigations:
Wants and Warrants Searches
This database contains information from a variety of sources including:
State: Departments of Correction, Probation, Parole Boards, and the
state Attorney Generals.
County: Municipal Courts, District Courts, County Sheriffs, District
Attorneys
City: Local Police Departments.
NOTE: Many areas of the country are not computerized and may be excluded.
The types of warrants contained in this database range from misdemeanor
warrants for bad checks, traffic violations, failures to appear, and
unpaid fines; to felony warrants for parole or probation violations,
robbery, rape, forgery, kidnapping and murder.
This database also contains valuable historical information, as warrants
are not removed from the database once they have been served; therefore,
it is important for researchers to verify that a warrant is active
with the reporting agency. Persons in this database may already be
in the custody of a law enforcement agency. Alias information on warrants
may or may not be correct.
Warrants are issued and served on a continuous basis by literally
thousands of individual agencies in all 50 states. The information
returned in response to search requests may or may not be current –
warrants may have been cleared by arrest or court appearance, been
vacated or recalled or otherwise withdrawn, and new warrants may have
been issued since the database was last updated.
